Here is a picture of my guardian angel. Sure, I saw some pictures on the Superficial.com of the Victoria’s Secret Fashion show, and they look pretty similar - but I have faith.

Admittedly, though, my guardian angel looks a lot like Alessandra Ambrosio.

The good old days?

Join Impact: Take it to the streets (and if you’re lucky, maybe back to the sheets?)
Posted on 12 November 2008 | Category: Uncategorized

We all agree that Proposition 8 passing has been an atrocity. There have been protests in the thousands, everyday, in California…and they are asking us to bring it home and show our strength and presence across the United States on this terrible human rights violation.

So, take it to the streets. There are protests scheduled across the United States on November 15th (that’s this Saturday). Go. Be a part of something larger than yourself. Be visible. Take a stand.

Grrlplanet will be out there, and we hope you will too. To see the Protest the closest to you this Saturday, please visit http://jointheimpact.com/

There is nothing sexier than a woman who knows what she wants. Show them what you’ve got. To all the hot bloggers out there, I encourage you to spread the word.

Vote Today - Even if just for the free sex (toy).
Posted on 04 November 2008 | Category: Uncategorized

I encourage you to participate in the program above…but if not, according to MSNBC.com, there are a lot of incentives to vote this year. Yeah, it’s your “civic duty” and all that, but Babeland is offering free sex toys if you present your “I voted” sticker at their stores in New York, LA, or Seattle. It makes civil duty a lot less bland. For guys, there is a self-pleasuring sleeve (retail $20) and for girls they are offering a silver bullet (retail $15). Which is pretty darn cool. I’m thinking of trying to get both…although I am not yet sure how I will use the sleeve, it seems interesting. Maybe my wrist?

But…if sex toys aren’t your thing (are you in the right blog?), or you don’t live in any of those cities listed above, some Starbucks are offering free coffee, and some Krispy Kreme stores and Ben & Jerry’s are all running similar promotions. Heck, some local pubs are even offering free beer.

So basically, all we’re saying is that even if you hate voting, hate your choices, or don’t care at all…at least do it for the free stuff…..or the orgasm.

Tap that.

According to a news article on WebWire.com, the one group that seems pretty resistent to recession in Ireland are the gays/lesbians - they’re still spending on consumer items, grooming products, clothing, and continuing with their habits.

“This research shows that gay consumers offer a significant new market opportunity for companies in a number of consumer categories that are currently hurting because of the recession in Ireland. Brands looking to find smarter ways to allocate tight marketing budgets would do very well to assess the strategic opportunities delivered by Ireland’s 195,000 lesbian and gay consumers. Targeting this very brand-aware, extremely loyal market simply makes for smart business.”

In my humble opinion, I think that companies might want to start looking to the gay and lesbian consumers in our own country to kick this recession. Can you imagine if the gays save the country from going into another great depression? It would be, quite awesome

…and please folks, after all, those sex toys aren’t going to sell themselves. Marketing to lesbians is just good business (and great eye candy):

To all the lesbians who aren’t getting any….

A man in Fort Myers shot himself twice in the arm after being denied sex by his girlfriend. Yes, it’s true and reported by the Asbury Park Press <if interested in the full story, click here>. It seems he wanted to get a little nookie, and the girlfriend wanted to get a little sleep. He got angry, went into the other room, and shot himself in the arm…which, frankly, makes no sense to me.

As noted by readers of this story, he should have shot himself in the foot if he wanted to be all dramatic…I mean, your arm can be kind of useful if your partner isn’t putting out, you know what I mean?

Optimus Prime demonstrates my meaning:

Up Close and Personal: Sarah Palin
Posted on 24 September 2008 | Category: Uncategorized

Two days ago, I saw Sarah Palin from about 100 ft away. She was wearing red leather. There was a motorcycle present. Think I’m lying? It’s all true. My girlfriend went out to a rally nearby just to scope her out (it sounds creepier than it was). And while you might not vote for her, might not like her politics, etc…I can almost assure you that you’d likely spend the night with her. She’s charming, and surprisingly attractive.

While I was present solely for the “fantasy” portion of the event, I have to tell you that the most touching part was not the action in my pants (oh the stories they could tell), but the unbelievable presence of those with disabilities that arrived to see Sarah Palin. Maybe I’ve lived a pretty sheltered and lucky life, but seeing so many people who are usually “invisible,” really made me think.

While we can debate over policies and programs - who is better, Democrat or Republican - for me, it was fairly clear that people with down syndrome, palsies, and numerous other disabilities feel like they finally have a voice….

I expected to come away with a few lewd stories, a pic with Palin (which didn’t happen) for the blog, and some funny stuff. Instead I was pretty dumbstruck by the amount of people who are out there that I never usually  see. I know that lesbians have a history of invisibility, and watching another population finally come out of the shadows a bit was touching.

I know, it’s all emotional and stuff -  I’m getting my period soon.

Here’s a pic of the Orange County Chopper guys showing off their motorcycle…I told you it was there. Though, admittedly, this is not my pic.

The American Family Association (AFA) wants people to “boycott McDonald’s” because they “promote the homosexual  agenda.” Turns out McDonald’s has an executive who is a part of the Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce and they gave $20,000 to them last year. When the AFA asked McDonald’s to not associate with gay organizations any longer, they said:

“Hatred has no place in our culture,” McDonald’s USA spokesman Bill Whitman told the Washington Post, “That includes McDonald’s, and we stand by and support our people to live and work in a society free of discrimination and harassment.”

Despite their good-will, the Ronald McDonald clown-guy is still creepy….
