Girls in Pictures: What do you think?

The newest Newsweek cover is gaining a lot of controversy. According to Andrea Tantaros, the latest cover of Newsweek with Sarah Palin on the cover is unretouched, showing every wrinkle, pore, stray eyebrow hair, etc.
I wanted to put this out there, because it seems that her rivals are portrayed much differently on the cover, retouched and flawless. Obama’s skin looked immaculate, and I doubt they’ll be displaying those alleged hairplugs of Joe Biden anytime soon.
So, in your opinion…is it sexist? partisan? or just highlighting something she is already attempting to portray - that’s she’s just like the “average joe sixpack,” separated from the “hollywood types,” and imperfect. Either way, it’s not a very flattering pic (though you can’t see it in this photo). Your thoughts?
This is in their “Women and Leadership” Issue, which by the way, no one called me? Tina-cious? Goldstar Dyke? etc… Clearly, there was oversight on this one.

Clearly if they didn’t call us they don’t know wtf they’re talkin’ about. LOL
It’s actually not that bad a pic. But then — she’s a former beauty queen.
See them do that with Margaret Thatcher! ;)

I think she’s a beautiful woman. One of the few that to me has gotten better with age.
I must admit that Newsweek did call me, but I was too busy scrounging to pay my credit card debt and loaning money to my brother to pay his medical bills. Not to mention advocating for gay rights while visiting my grandmother in the nursing home that has drained my grandfather of all his pension and savings.
I have to tell you that I’m getting used to pores and wrinkles via the 50′ flat screen TV I bought on credit. That’s as long as I can keep up with the cable bill to continue my HD service, which is extra.
I don’t care what this woman looks like. Retouching or not. I think of her only as her opinions on the issues. Most of which I completly disagree with. She could look like a damn Yeti on the cover and she and McCain still wouldn’t have my vote.
I will say this. After a few shots of Jager and her promising to pay my bills I just may tap that…..
