Pageant Presidents: Someone has to make the tough decisions.

Miss Universe 2008, Dayana Mendoza, was allowed to keep her crown despite a series of topless photos….So, basically, she won the award on July 13th and has been taking off her clothes ever since….well, unless she took off her clothes beforehand. But, no matter, it’s a great trait in a woman.

While the controversy has been swirling around whether or not the photographs will affect her status as Miss Universe, the President of the Pageant finally set the record straight, making the tough decision and stating to MSNBC.com that the pics have “artistic merit,” and that she will retain her crown.

We agree that any picture of this woman topless has artistic merit…but that’s just us…and as for him, what do you expect from a guy who makes his living parading women around in bikinis?
