Girls are just as good at math.

The largest study examining gender and math was recently published in Science journal. The results? When looking extensively at math scores, there is no difference between the genders from elementary school through high school. That means all those lies you heard about “boys being better at math” are simply not true.
What telling you those things does do…is keep girls out of high level math courses, which keeps them out of many science and technology careers (where money is made).
Here’s someone who’s bucked the trend, a picture of Harvard Theoretical Physicist, Lisa Randall. She’s 45 years old, and considered one of the most influential physicists of our time. Why didn’t I have professors that looked like this?

How is she 45? If I looked like that at 45, I’d owe some god my big toe.

Apparently being really good at theoretical physics = the fountain of youth.
Bonus points: She is SUPER amazing with her mentally challenged younger (?) sibling.
That former Harvard President-type was a giant schmo/ hypocrite for having her on staff and saying women weren’t as capable at science and math.
