Yes, suddenly I reverted to the language of a country brawl. But, that’s what Proposition 8 (the attempted ban on same-sex marriage that will come up for vote in Nov) is turning out to be. In a recent move, Brad Pitt is joining the cause to fight it, giving $100,000, and saying in a recent quote to Star Magazine that:

“Because no one has the right to deny another their life even though they disagree with it, because everyone has the right to live the life they so desire if it doesn’t harm another and because discrimination has no place in America, my vote will be for equality and against Proposition 8.”

Now, if only he could pony up another few thousand and pay off my student loan.
